At Stripecoat we handle all types of Asphalt Maintenance. See the list below of the 4 main types of asphalt maintenance we can provide.
Hot Pour Crackfilling: applying hot tar to existing cracks in the asphalt. By doing this the tar will fill the cracks and slow down the expansion process of that crack. Giving the pavement a longer life-span and preventing potholes from forming.
Parking Bumper Installation: a form of stoppage for vehicles when they pull into a parking space. Primarily used to help cars stop when there isn’t a barrier in between the parking spot and what is in front of it, ex: walls, electrical boxes, buildings, ect. Parking bumpers are made of concrete or plastic. They are installed by drilling a hole into the asphalt and using a nail to anchor the bumper to the ground.
Sign Installation: installing a pole into the ground anchoring it with concrete. Once installed the sign is bolted to the pole. Concrete is used at the base of the pole to insure structural security from high winds and damage to vehicles. Signs included but not limited to: Handicap, No Parking, Enter, Do Not Enter, One way, and more.
Cold Patch Repairs: designed and used to repair potholes and/or small asphalt patches. It contains 90% recycled material and once applied it is ready for use immediately. Cold patch isn’t a permanent fix. The life span of cold patch is not as long as hot asphalt.
