Sealcoating

Sealcoat is an asphalt base protective sealer that once applied, it protects and expands the life of the asphalt from water, UV, and oil damage. Sealcoat is a liquid bituminous or liquid acrylic base. When mixed with water, sand and other additives to help bond it to the asphalt and protect it. Sealcoat is applied by spraying or brushing a layer over the asphalt. Once it dries during the recommended time frame (roughly 24 hours) it makes a slip resistant surface. It protects your existing asphalt from damage and gives your parking lot or driveway a newly black finish, making it look brand new. Using the recommended time frame for sealcoating, it will more than double the life of the pavement on top. This will save you money down the road because sealcoating is a more cost efficient alternative then getting new asphalt.
